Erik "Ned" Nedeau
As an athlete, Ned was a Division I All-American runner at Northeastern University before he became a professional runner for New Balance winning a bronze medal at the 1995 World Championship, as well as multi-time Olympic Trials competitor. Ned was one of the top Master's runners in the world prior to knee surgery, and since that time, he shifted focus to cycling and continued to compete on two wheels instead of 2 running shoes.
As a coach, Ned was a collegiate coach for over 20 years, earning NCAA Coach of the Year and coaching 18 NCAA Champions and over 100 All-Americans. He has coached athletes to the Olympic Trials and National Championships in both track events and marathons, numerous Boston Marathon qualifiers, and those that he has worked with have shown remarkable improvements. He would love the chance to provide structure and guidance to help you accomplish your goals!
Ned is a USATF-certified coach, NASM-certified personal trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, certified spin instructor, and corrective exercise specialist. He received his BS from Northeastern University in 1994 and MS in Sports Management from UMass in 1996.
